What this site is

This is an information site. Nothing is sold through it, no payment is taken and no account is created. The only information we receive is what you choose to send us through one of the forms.

What we collect, and why

If you make an enquiry

Your name, email address, and whatever you tell us in the message, plus your business name, role, phone number and area if you send a venue enquiry. We use it to reply to you and to follow up on what you asked about. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps towards a contract where you are asking about supply.

If you join the mailing list

Your email address. We use it to send occasional news about Gouté Balvin. Lawful basis: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the site: our hosting and email providers. We don’t sell your information and we don’t share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to twelve months, or for as long as we are in contact about supplying you. Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@goutebalvin.com and we will respond within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and storage on your device

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores one thing on your device: a note in your browser session that you passed the age check. If we add analytics, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
